Nano Technology & Material Engineering

This concentration deals with interdisciplinary studies that integrate principles from nanotechnology and materials science to innovate and develop advanced materials. This field is essential for advancements in various industries including electronics, automotive, healthcare, energy, and environmental sustainability through: • Manipulation of materials at the atomic or molecular scale to develop nanomaterials and nanodevices. • Study of material properties and applications to develop new materials with specific properties By taking the Nanotechnology and Materials Engineering concentration, students will have technical skills related to Nanomaterial Synthesis, Characterization Techniques, Fabrication Skills, Material Analysis, Computational Modeling, Experimental Design, and Data Analysis. Job fields related to this concentration include: Nanotechnology Engineer, Semiconductor Process Engineer, Environmental Nanotechnologist, Materials Engineer, Research and Development (R&D) Engineer, Consultant, etc.
